Make Gmail My Homepage
Gmail is a simple, powerful email program used by millions of people worldwide. It is often easier to set Gmail's website to your computer's homepage than to frequently navigate to it. The process is simple, though not the same for all web browsers.
For Firefox :
1.Open the Firefox web browser, and navigate to Gmail's website; a link is in the Resources section below.
2.Click the "Tools" link at the top of the web browser window. Click "Options" to open the pop-up options box.
3.Click the "General" tab, if it is not already selected. The first option in the "General" tab is "Startup." Select "Show my Homepage" from the "When Firefox Starts" drop-down menu.
4.Type Gmail's web address into the "Homepage" box, or click the "Use Current Pages" button. Click the "Okay" button to commit the changes to the browser's memory.
5.Close and restart Firefox to confirm that the changes were made and that the homepage is Google's Gmail.
For Internet Explorer :
3.Select the "General" tab if it's not already chosen. In the "Home page" box, type Gmail's web address, or click the "Use Current" button. Click "Apply" to make the changes and "Okay" to close the "Internet Options" box.
4.Close the web browser, and restart it to check that the changes were applied and that Gmail is the homepage.

2.Click the "Customize and Control Google Chrome" button on the navigation bar. The button looks like a wrench. Select the "Options" link from the drop-down menu.
3.Select the "Basics" tab if it's not already chosen. Select "Open the home page" option from the "Startup" section. Choose "Open this page" from the "Home page" section, and type Gmail's web address in the box.
